  4. America Online offers you the ability to sign online as a guest.  This is convenient if you are near another member's computer and want to use his or her software to get online.  To sign on as a guest, follow these simple instructions:

  6. 1.  From the first screen, the sign-on screen, point to the box that contains the user name, highlight "guest," and click.
  7.  
  8. 2.  Then, when you (or your guest) hit "Sign on," you'll be asked to enter your personal screen name and password.  
  9.  
  10. This gives you access to your account -- to your mailbox and your billing.  Any time you spend online as a guest will be charged to your own account.
